I am building a 300 blackout and i have several pounds of hs-6 powder. I am in need of some sub sonic load info for this powder. I will be launching 220 gr smks.

HS6 is too fast a powder for ARs. It is not compatible with the gas system.

rsilvers, what powder would you recommend for subsonic 220 SMKs out of a 8 or 10" barrel?

On the AAC website they recommend Accurate Arms A1680 powder.

Any ideas on H322 or H110. Just trying not to have to buy more powder.

H110 works good with lighter bullets, but for heavier ones look into the 1680

A1680 is better for 175 grain and probably 168. H-110 is better for 155s and under.

I have got my best accuracy with the 220s and Vhit N-110.

will load data for 16" barrel be close enough for use in an 11" barrel?

I'm in Cabot and I've been loading the 300 with AA9, N110, and 1680. N110 gives me the best accuracy with 220s.

VVN110 for bolt and AA1680 for semi auto.
