300BLK pistol/ carbine???

Just received a 10.5" barrel for a 300BLK build. The barrel I received is for a pistol length gas system and I was expecting a carbine. The upper will be suppressed and on a full auto lower. Any thoughts on the pistol length gas tube opposed to a carbine length?

If you're shooting mostly sub sonics you'll be glad to have a pistol length gas system. If you plan on supers it could be either way. More powder options for subs with pistol gas system.

Pistol length gas is the correct length for a 10.5" 300 BLK.

Blk will not cycle with a carbine length system on a short barrel. It uses less of a faster powder.
