300blkout sbr upper question

Iam waiting on my stamp to sbr my lower. I assembled the lower myself with ease. How difficult would it be for me to assemble the upper myself? I am going with a 8" barrel. I wouldnt be concerned if it was a 16" or longer because I dont think it would be as hard to get it to function. Im concerned with my novice abilities to adjust the gas to get it to function.

8" barrel will have a pistol gas setup, so with a good barrel, you won't have to do any adjusting.
