I have a 300 WM in a magnum length Sako Bolt Action receiver and can seat my bullets beyond specified overall cartridge length .
I'm currently working up loads for 210 grain Berger VLDs with H-1000 powder .
Anybody else doing the same and what have you come up with ?
One in ten twist 26 inch medium heavy Douglas barrel .
I know it's a pretty generic topic , but I'm curious about the difference the seating depth between a standard vs magnum action makes as far as fps and pressure .

My 300wm load is 208A-Max or 210 VLD with 78gr of H1000, BHA or Fed brass, and 215M. Bullets seated to max COAL for the magazine, don't have the number in front of me. I have a few friends who shoot the same load in their 300wm's with good results.

I'm currently shooting 76.3 grains of H-1000 , 210 grain VLD just kissing the lands . My coal is 3.552 , Win Brass neck turned, FH de-burred , primer pocket uniformed , Redding dies and Benchrest seater . Not chronographed yet but was very accurate from my Rifle .
I installed a muzzle brake and I'm waiting for a chance to shoot again to see results in accuracy and recoil reduction .
What bullet jump has worked best with your Rifle and the VLDs ?
