Please post up your 300 WM loads for the 208 ELD-M, using norma brass and H1000 specifically. There isn't a lot of data with this brass, and the numbers don't line up with other brands as the case volume is more spacious. Please refrain from posting loads using other brass.

Not sure what the adjustment factor would be for Norma brass, but I shot a few groups the last two days with the older 208 Amaxes in WW brass with Federal 215's ahead of 75.5 grains H-1000 - while the shooter was off, the load is consistently in the .4-.6 MOA range. Hope to stretch it out a ways this weekend , or sometime between now and Christmas.

I only got to test a couple loads last week before I ran out of daylight. 76.5gr of H1000 loaded at 2.867 to the ogive shot the best, but that was only at 100 yards (around .5 MOA). I think it may be a little slower than I’d like. I plan on doing a ladder test at 300 yards tomorrow.

I've been running 77.0gr H-1000 under 208 AMAX and 210 VLD Bergers w/ Federal 215GMM Primers with very good results and no pressure signs in my rifle. This is with both BHA (Norma) brass and NORMA headstamped brass.

What speed are you getting out of that load?

I don't have a clue, seldom set up a chrono. I suppose one could plug some drops into a ballistic calculator program and get pretty darn close.

Zeroed 1" high at 100 yards, 7" drop at 300 yards.

I have a few rounds I've been torture testing, think they have been fired 8x and primer pockets are still good. Annealed each firing and FL sized nearly every firing.

I ran two ladder tests at 300 yards this afternoon, from 76.2-78.5gr of H1000, both ascending and descending. I found a node from 77.7-78.2. Between both tests, this node yielded an average of 0.44"/0.14MOA vertical spread. I will be running with 78.0gr most likely.

Nosler brass (I believe made by Norma) 77.5 grains of H1000 with a standard federal match primer 208 ELD-M 2867fps ES 11 SD 7 24" Criterion barrel.

I have never heard that BHA brass was Norma brass. I have heard it was WW. Just curious where you got this information?

Here are some numbers I have produced, but this is using Hornady Brass. I think I have a quick barrel (24 Inch Bartlein 1-10) compared to what I have seen.

I’m sorry, I just saw your sentence about not posting if using other Brass than Norma.

Dibbs, I believe it is only the BHA Match that is Norma. I could be wrong.
