I absolutely love the Berger 175 OTMs out of my Savage with its 26" Shilen barrel. 1/4 MOA if I do my part.

Lapua Brass
43.1gr Varget
2.850" COAL with a .020" jump
2720 fps with no pressure signs

Are you single feeding these or fitting them in a mag?
I'm trying to fit them in a AI mag

I'm not sure what the max length inside an AI mag is, but my Savage mag will accommodate up to a 2.940" length. I feed my 2.850" rounds from the mag with no problems.

For me they shoot just as good as the 175 grain SMK's. 43.5 gns. of Varget loaded to 2.820 inches O.A.L. 2700 + fps
