Is 2700 fps fast enough in a .308 to get a 185 gr bullet out to 1000 yards accurately and consistantly.

The loads ES is 18 and the SD is 7.

Good enough or should I try and find a higher node?

Thanks

Just to make sure but what projectile? VLD, Scenars, or SMK's will work.

If it a hunting style bullet, say cor-lok, probably not. I mean I guess it could but probably just not as consistently as the others.

Thats plenty haha, my load will hold supersonic to 1100yds around here given the conditions, with zero altitude and @ 2618fps shooting 175gr berger BT LRs
