I bought a micro moa 3 position gas block for my lr 308 build. I could not find much info on them, so i am giving my opinion. Drilling the ports for it is tedious, but i feel confidant that it is a much more robust program than the set screw variety.
I do not know as to long term use as i only just installed it. It functions vary well when switch between suppressed, unsuppressed, and with weaker ammo. I really like the 3 positions and simplicity. It also fits and functions great under my midwest 12" handguard. My initial thought is that it should perform as if the actual port is the proper size. I think this is a very good method of running suppressor on a semi, di, .308. It seems to be more effective than the set screw type. The only caveat is drilling your own tiny ports, but in the end you get a better product for it, as it is tuned to your use. If anything changes over time i will try to update.
