Has anyone loaded Ramshot Tac under a 155gr Lapua or Palma in .308 with good results? I would like to speed up loading using my Dillon 650. My HS bolt gun and M1a love the 155's.

Yes. We load the palma ammo for our jrs using TAC and 155 Noslers or Sierras. Using a high round count rifle they can consistently shoot into the high 180s, low 190s with it at 1000. Thats about what I would expect them to shoot with about anything else.
Ultimately, will depend on what your rifle likes and your accuracy needs. OUr 1000 yard target has a 2MOA 10 ring, but we are shooting sling/irons, to put it in perspective.

Agreed, you really need to weigh charges for true consistency/accuracy, at least consistency/accuracy beyond 600yrds.

the trick with TAc in the dillon powder measure it to take a couple second pause while the powder is dropping in the case, I notice less than .3 gr variation doing that. Still not as good as weighing every charge but for palma and the 2 MOA 10 ring it is good enough.
