308 AR semi auto questions LAR 8 / POF P308

I am looking at purchasing a semi-auto AR 308. I have found a used RRA LAR 8 varmint A4 CM and a used POF P308 Gen 4. Both have a 20" barrel. I have owned both of them before (POF Gen 3), although it was over 5 years ago. I don't recall very much about it other than it cleaned extremely easy. As I recall, the LAR 8 shot very well. I had zero issues with either and there didn't seem to be much in the way of factory support. the POF P308 is $550 more than the LAR 8. So, my question for all of those much more knowledgeable than myself, is the POF P308 worth the additional $550?

Any thoughts, opinions, advise or snide comments are welcome and appreciated.
