308 Brass

Other than Lapua, what is widely considered the best brass? I see Lake City mentioned a lot but in your option what is the best / preferred brands?

And where do you like to purchase them?

Norma and Hornady seem to be in abundance. ive had good luck with Winchester cases. the primer pockets seem to loosen before the case gives way.

I use lots of Lake City for my semis. Winchester brass I use in my bolt rifles.

FWIW I seem to get more accurate loads with win than LC.

Winchester brass in my Remington bolt. It has held up very good.

Winchester and Hornady for me. Will be leaning more towards Winchester because it's much cheaper and lasts as long as Hornady. As far as accuracy it's a toss up between the two.

I personally like Hornady Match. Have 40 that are on the 6th loading right now.
