308 depriming problem...

At the range a fellow was firing a FAL and said I could have the brass. He said it was junk South African ammo, but what the heck I could use it in my autoloader or somthing.

But I cant deprime it. I busted the two decapping pins and any of it wont budge without busting a third pin.
Any suggestion on how to get the primers out, or is this a waste of time?

Are you sure it Boxer primed? Look down into the case (in bright light) and seen if there is one flash hole in the center (Boxer) or two flash holes on either side of center (Berdan).

Also, about 100% certain the primers are crimped in but shouldn't be so hard to break a decapping pin.

They are Berdan primed. Don't waste any more decapping pins.

Thats a fact Jack, SA is good ammo but leave it lay brass .

I think that's page 10, or 17, in most reloading manuals.

Will they ever learn?
