308 "gas gun" loads ?

Im curious too since I have started to work up some loads for a LR308 normally I follow the M1a specific info from bearblain or Glen Z. But the M1a info and experience with my 308 bolt gun and my LR308 all seem to be different animals
The list I referred to had mostly loads using 175's & H 178's.
"BOBKE" There are newer powders available , and a good source of data is the M 14 forum. They have a nice "search" feature, just put in either a powder, a bullet, or a commercial equivalent, like
FGGM equivalent , a lot of posts will show up. And , these loads are for M 14 / M1A's so they should be safe in any 308 AR.
There are ways to shoot loads normally restricted to bolt guns, BUT what I've found is that my best accuracy came from well below MAX data.

Keep in mind that Stoner developed the AR-10 around the M14 ammunition and it has similar requirements related to port pressure as the M14. So powder recommendation should follow the M14/M1A burn rates.
