Throw away the damm 100yd targets they mean nothing. Shoot your ladder test at 600yds over a chronograph. I use .3 grain increments in the 308 .5 in 06 length and small magnums and 1 full grain in big ones. Once you see the flat spot then you can tune at .1 or .2 increments. Seating your limited by your magazine unless you want to single load(why). 0, .010, .030, .050 out to .100 off the and one will shoot better than the others but it's a 308 should shoot the 168-175 class of bullet from 2.780-2.830. I'm not a fan of 4064 in a bolt gun I run Rl15 for that class of bullets and CFE223 or MR2000 for heavier bullets. This is a student with my rifle last Saturday 650 168smk 2633 sd 4 es10. Gong is 8" and that is his first shots beyond 100yds ever. The load was developed at 300yds because that is what I had available locally. Had he not flinched on the 3rd shot it should hve gone into about 1.5" Had i stuck to the 100 yd target I have 4 bullets and from 42.5-44.0 shooting into 1/2moa at 100 yds
