308 prime ammo

Hey has anybody chrono a 24 inch AIAT with 308 prime I shoot factory smk at 2670 I'm debating on buying the prime just if I'm at 2590 as they state I'm not going to pick up any better ballistic over my factory smk even though the prime is .283 vs smk at .243 bc

I was 2516 out off a 20in Ruger precision rifle if that helps. You should be a bit higher.

The Prime bullets are very very close to the SMK. I doubt they're better even if they list them with a higher BC.

24" 5r milspec shot the prime at 2569 and shot 2011 headstamp m118lr at 2620, shot federal gm bergers 185s at 2606. Only advantage to the prime was a better SD. But at the end of the day its rifle specifc.
