I am getting my suppressor soon and am looking to work on some sub loads for my 308’s. I am wondering what bullet is commonly used for subsonic loads? I think that I have read before about 208 AMAX for subs, but I am unsure. I guess I am just looking for some starting info please. Thank you.

Starting data will depend largely on what twist rate your barrel is, that is the first thing to determine.

Thanks Bohem, that will help. My twist is 1:12 for my bolt, and 1:11.25 for my AR.

Make SURE the load is stabile before you try it with your can. I know the 208 amax is stabile with a 1:8 twist but don't know about that1:12

i have shot 175's out of a 12 twist with 10.5gn of trail boss but havent played with it in a while.
