Suppressors 308 Suppressor on .22 LongRifle?

A hypothetical question:

A couple of PRO or CONS concerning getting a thread adapter to allow a 308 suppressor to be used on a .22 caliber rifle.....

I can't really think of any pros, but the biggest con I think is that .22 is filthy and will gum your centerfire can up.

huntertown arms makes the kestrel which comes apart for cleaning.

never shot 22 thru a 30 cal can, so i cannot comment on the suppression level.
