308 win 168g A-Max and BL-C(2)

Hey Guys I went to the Hodgdon and Hornady web pages and could not find any data for this bullet/powder combo. If you have the hornady book please give me the min/max loads.

There is nothing in the Hornady book for BLC with 168s, but for 178 AMAX in a service rifle, they list 36.9 - 43.4 gr.

The Nosler manual most definitely has BLC for 168s.

i noticed that, but the last time i loaded using the nosler book(listed 85g retumbo for a 200g partition) it almost went very bad for me(blew the primer out) I was using accubonds and thought the info for the partition would work just fine. The max for the accubond is either 80 or 81 grains...so i was a little nervous about "guessing"....

Start with the low end of the Nosler manual and work up. Starting at the top end of any manual is a bad idea, they even say so in the manuals...
