Does anybody have any information / first hand experience with this caliber? Ballistics look interesting.

The only thing I don't like is the small bullet, ammo selection. I don't know a whole lot about it, but have you looked at the 338 Ruger short mag? I don't know the actual name of it, but Hornady is making ammo for it. I shoot the old .338 WinMag for my elk rifle.

George Gardner used one in Africa a few years ago with excellent results. Maybe he will chime in and comment; or better yet repost some of the pictures of the animals taken with this rifle.
