this needs a bump. my 338edge rifle will be finished by the middle of april. using the same reamer as a buddy of mine did. he is 3.970's oal with berger 300 hybrids at the lands. my brass is all prepped up and ready. remington brass, berger 300g hybrids, federal magnum primer's and h1000 will be my starting point. i will load from 90.0 - 94.0g in .5 incremints for a ladder test. as i have already loaded ten @ 90.0g at 4.00 lengths and will adjust length when i measure my chamber. all of this throug a 30 bartlein. damn i can't wait

My edge will be at my doorstep Thursday. I have 50 pieces of the Bertram brass and 50 pieces of Remington .300 RUM I will neck up with a redding expander. My smith modified a type S die. Cant decide if I want .003 or .002 of neck tension. I have some 300 GR SMK's and will also work up with the 285 GR Amax when I can find them in stock. I am going to use CCI 250's and H1000 because I have a tone of them in stock from my .300 WM days. Rifle has a brux 9.4 twist throat for a OAL of 3.850. I will use a Hornady New dimension seater with the micrometer adjustment.
