Range Report 338 Federal Velocity

Im looking at putting together a SBR bolt gun in 338 Federal and would like to run 300 grainers subsonic. Im really wanting to go 8"-10" of barrel length. Does anyone have any data on barrel length with velocity of heavies? I may have to go with the 250's but anxious to get your feedback.

I was going to go that route, then decided I don’t need the fireball and unburned powder spraying out the muzzle that bad. ymmv..
