338 lapua Ackley Improved mag feeding

Does anyone have any experience with mag feeding a 338 lapua ackley improved 40 degree? I had a single shot in this caliber a while back and still have all my brass etc. I currently have a DTA in 338 lapua and am thinking about reaming it out to a 40 degree shoulder so I can use all the supplies I already have.

I have a 35 degree and it feeds fine. Not sure if the extra 5 degrees will mess with it or not, but I doubt it.

I cycled some rounds I had loaded with 250 lockbases through it and it fed fine. Looks like I'll have it bumped out. Thanks.

If anyone has had trouble feeding the improved rounds I would like to hear about it before I take the barrel to my smith.
