I'm putting together ideas for a new 338 LM build. It will be a left hand and I'm not sure who all makes an repeater action for the 338 Lapua. Any suggestions?

It will have bartlein barrel and undecided on the brake and stock yet.

Considering AICS, but also like Mcmillan A5. Any advantage to either for the 338..I suspect just personal preference.

I think I might have found a left hand Lawton 8000 action. Anyone use one of these??

Thanks!

Alan

Surgeon Action and I'd recommend their bottom metal as well for the AICS mags. I think Seekins might make bottom metal or is working on it for .338 LM as well.

Does Surgeon make Left handed actions now?

I would start calling around. Lawton makes some excellent actions as does Stiller and Defiant. All three make custom actions and should be able to accommodate your need for a left hand action.

In terms of your stock options. If you want a AICS you are stuck with a remmy clone action. However if you look into Manners and McMillian it opens up your options on actions.

I think I will just go with another Mcmillan A5 stock. Gotta get some things ordered. Long wait times suck
