Selling my custom built 338 Lapua. I gathered all of the pieces up and had John King put it all together. John is listed on 6mmbr.com as one of the top gunsmiths. The action is a Kirby Allen Raptor which was made by Defiance. It had a long tenon and large .750 bolt. I bought an Obermeyer fluted barrel from Bugholes in 1: 9.4 twist and it’s finished at 30”. An APR painkiller muzzle brake was timed and adds two more inches of length. Seekins DBM for long rounds is fitted to a Manners T5-A stock. The action was pillar bedded to the stock. The trigger is a Timney. The gun then went to Proof Research. They had the bolt nitrided and ceracoated the metal. The rifle has about 350 rounds fired. It likes Lapua 300gr Scenars. Gun comes as pictured with 20 MOA base and two magazines. RCBS gold medal dies, 100 rounds of Lapua brass and bullets will be included as well. $3000 plus shipping to your FFL. Now $2500 shipped!
