What is the longest you can load to without getting any nose deformation or battering in the badger DBM? It measures 3.650 I believe but what should be my OAL. I'm no where near the lands with either of my 300s the sierras are 3.785 and the bergers are worse 3.885 (Damn thats a long bullet). Anyway someone thats load for this set up please let me know whats the longest you set your OAL to to function in the mag well. Just trying to load my first 20 rounds for 338 and need a place to start.

We're talking minute differences between boxes of the same brand, so just load them long and test them out. Load one at 3.660" and see if it fits, if it doesn't, you can push the bullet in to 3.655" and see if it fits and so on and so forth.

Your box may let you go a bit longer than the norm.
