.338 Norma necked down to .300

Has anyone any experience of necking down .338 Norma brass to .300? I have a bag of Norma brass here I'd like to neck down if it is possible. Any advice would be much appreciated

I’ve necked down 338 Lapua to 308. Anneal, lots of lube, neck down. Then, expand, neck turn, and trim to OAL. I used sizing wax to neck down, then mobil one engine oil for neck turning.

Seems like a lot of work when you could probably just swap brass with someone.

Not that I don’t like cool projects… but setting up for a handful of brass that you can get off the shelf seems like lot of work! That could be expended doing other cool things!

As mentioned above, why not just buy 300 Norma brass then? Might be cheaper. Sell your 338 brass

Thank you..the brass is just sat there. So I thought I'd ask..looks like too much effort so will just sell it.
