Is anyone using the listed combination of components? Peterson recommended a .365 neck bushing. Does anyone's experience agree or disagree? This will be my first time using neck bushings so I thought I would buy one size plus and minus their recommendation. I'm not set up for neck turning at the moment.

Thanks

.365 is the standard choice for lapua brass. Peterson is a pretty small group of guys. If they had a technical answer at all, id imagine it's right. I have some coming my way as I write this, i'll post back if nobody else does.

One other thing, this stuff is packed nice. I'd imagine you could load it and and go. After loading, just take a loaded round neck measurement to confirm what bushing you'll need.

Got my sample brass today. Out of the box, the necks were .3632 on the OD. My berger 300's measure .3375 in the middle of the bearing surface. Loaded round OD measurement in the middle of neck and bearing surface was .3665. Id use a .364 bushing to start.

Fwiw, I have a redding 364 bushing that sizes necks to .363, which means to me that its closer to .362 in diameter.

Neck bushings usually have a taper in them so they can be run numbers down for approx. .0005 additional sizing. Same goes for LE Wilson bushings. I prefer wilson to redding.
