I was looking at my ISnipe app on the ipod and in the factory ammo there is 338 federal with 300gr SMKs loaded by Federal. When placed in the same length barrel 26in it is gving me nearly identicle ballistics to a similar 338 Lapua load. How is this possible or is it wrong?

I don't see any way you can actually get the 300gr bullet to the same velocity in the 338 Federal as you can in the Lapua, but in software, I'm sure it works just fine. The software does not blow up when overpressure.
