Not sure if you meant in general as a sporter .338WM auto.

Browning makes a 338WM in a auto "BAR" and has for a number of years. I have one in .300WM and my father has one in .338WM. The accuracy is better then expectation, in animal, and it feeds and extracts extremely well. I can't recall any real functional issues, just made sure the bolt seated on first round. Note both of these rifles are well before the current Safaris, no brakes, and are 15+ years old.
The blueing is typical Browning; pretty but requiring attention. The wooden forearm piece is relatively fragile.

Re: .338 WM in an autoloader...

I was thinking about a 30 cal autoloader, and wasn't aware of any options other than an AR-30 type build.

Big question is, will this deliver in the accuracy dept, well enough to be used for LR target/steel, or is it limited to "minute of moose" accuracy? Benelli doesn't make any claims in that dept...
I was unfamiliar with the .338 WM, it has pretty impressive ballistics.
