338 ???

I got off the phone with RCBS yesterday to order dies for my 338 edge. They told me that I could use 338 RUM dies and save alot of money with not haveing custom dies made. How is this possible? What do I need to do to make this work? I would love to save money and put that into a better scope. All opinions welcome.

The differents between the two is the 338RUM is a little shorter,....so by backing off your die the amount you need you can resize at least the neck of the case to seat a bullet.You would'nt be able to full lenth resize because the new case is longer,... but you can buy just a body die from redding die company....would save you money.try that and see how it works.Tim
