Just got a 338 lapua in remington 700 police. I am looking for rings and bases. Anybody with ideas fill free. The only reason I dont know where to get them is the screws on the receiver are bigger than regular 700 base screws.

Hi mate this'd best be in the optics section of the forum.
I'd look at a single piece picatinny rail from Badger Ordnance in either 20 or 30MOA cant depending on the range you want to shoot and the optics you're getting.
Rings, match the outer tube diameter of the scope. either 1", 30mm or 34mm. Then you need to figure out which height rings you need.
Dont skimp on parts, do it right the first time.
