It's used, but not commonly.

I shoot the 250s and I really like H-4831sc, VV-165, H-1000 and VV-170. Retumbo, RL-25, US 869 I think, are a few others.

86-89grs of H-4831sc and seat as long as you can.

Madd0c,

Do you or do you know anyone that has a recipe for the Rem MLR .338LM..??

I am looking for a VERY accurate round with the 250grn SMKs...

Let me know please,

Thanks,
Matt.

Agreed....gives the highest velocity and best accuracy in two different .338LM's I've worked with.

I'd love to, and some 570 for the 300's. Anyone know where I can get some?

Great powder, but for the cost, one pound of that doesn't go too far with the 338LM. I'm just saying....

Sorry, mine is a Surgeon Remedy, so I can't tell you for sure on the Rem MLR.

Re: 338LM powder i was recommended

my friend and i both have the remington mlr, and rl-25 has worked best for me. he started with retumbo but the rl-25 was aprox 100 fps faster with less pressure signs. hopes this helps. have not tried any other powder yet.
