338LM Tube Gun?

Re: 338LM Tube Gun?

cheap way to do one would be to buy a rem 700 mlr and sell stock and dbm and get yourself a competition shooting stuff(eliseo) RTM and slap the barreled action in their. if barrel doesn't shoot just rebarrel. or just get a rem 700 action and order a PT&G bolt.

tube guns are the shit you won't regret it.

Re: 338LM Tube Gun?

Yeah, thats kind of what I was thinking. I already have a 338LM built on a 700 and was thinking about giving it a whirl. I have the mags and everything already. Just an idea I was tossing around. I have actually been thinking about it since the GB but I was set on the AICS at the time. Now I'm reconsidering. The more I read about them, the more appealing they become.

The RTM will take the 338LM mags, correct?

pardon my ignorance but what exactly is a "tube gun"?

Re: 338LM Tube Gun?

Here:

This one is a MAK. It uses an AR15 buttstock. The Elisio comes complete. They are probably the most configurable rifle system available. Google "Competition Shooting Stuff" and you will see Gary's line of them.

yes RTM will take 338lm mags plus you could use same chassis and run 300wm, 308, and 223 caliber and anything that will feed out of those aics mags.
