I'm looking for 34mm rings that are higher than 1.00" but shorter than 1.25". Are there any options other than TPS and USO?

I bought some low 34mm rings off him and they are excellent quality. Probably the best 34mm rings I've ever seen.

I just got 34mm AI MOUNT FOR PICATINNY RAIL (18moa) with 30mm inserts and its really nice. Mounts perfectly has enough clearance for big scopes and feels really solid.

I have an IOR 3-18 with Seekins rings,they are pretty nice,worth a look anyway

What are you putting it on. If you're running a 50 BMG all day long, I'd go with steel or if you want tacticool then you can do steel. For all practical purposes Aluminum is just fine.
That being said, Milled aluminum is great, but stay away from the extruded stuff. Stick with Badger and the like. I run Badger Alloy rings and I love em.
