Howdy all. I have always had a love for .358 caliber. I've decided to build a rifle based on the 35 Sambar, aka 35-300WSM. The American Rifle Company makes a controlled feed action called the Archimedes that has caught my eye. My concern is whether it will feed the cartridge adequately. Does anyone have experience with this or similar combo?
Thanks,
Dan

Howdy Dan,
I have an ARC archimedes in 300 wsm I built for elk hunting last year. I don't have any issues feeding my handloads from accurate wsm aics mags. You might have to slightly adjust the magazine feedlips depending on bottom metal inlet depth. Had to do that on my buddies rifle in 6.5 PRC. Whats the COAL for the 35 sambar?

With the acis wsm mags you should be able to load out to 2.950" coal. Keep in mind the archimedes isn't cut for standard rem bdl bottom metal, so you will need to run m5 bottom metal. I believe the mausingfield is cut for the bdl and m5.
