Thank you, their kits are priced higher than expected, but after reading their material, they make some good points challenging traditional "pointers", and they have some nice options. That is my first time to see a pointer rod as part of a kit.
no problem man...Yeah they are kinda high but you could also find a local machinist to turn you one up and it will be cheaper...I believe the Sinclair kits come with a pointer but again no 35mm
Thanks, I was actually looking at that kit. I like the idea of it, but not sure I can swing the $$.
SJ, I am a couple of months too late. I have/had a buddy who is/was a machinist who just went out of business. I have one more option, but thought I would look retail also.
I have the 35mm Kokopelli kit that i've used once. If you just need to use it for a project I can ship it to you for you to use... if you are looking for one I will consider just selling you the kit if you are interested.
Get a Kokopelli kit if you can swing the $$$. I thought twice about spending that kind of money on it but when you look at what you have invested in the glass it is a no-brainer. I bed the base (Badger) and still give the rings (Badger or equiv.) a few strokes. It is worth it!!!
