Who makes a set of .375 Cheytac reloading dies? Also, is there any .375 Cheytac loaded ammo available, for sale, using Peterson brass?

Warner Tool makes a very nice set of dies to your fired brass, though they are a bit pricey. I have a set of CT factory dies (1.5 inch) that I can sell you now that I've upgraded to the Warner setup, $400. I can't ship till I get back to the house next month though. I will say the Warner Tool dies are worth the expense.

Warner's are basically $1k all said and done. I talked to Ellison over at cheytac last week and he said they were working with a company to have some sets made. I checked into applied ballistics and they are no longer making a set of dies for cheytac, but only for their enabelr rounds only. Widden makes a set also. Ch4d does also. I'll probably run some cheaper dies for the time being until I feel like the dies are holding me back from greater potential then I'll upgrade to a full length bushing die set to control neck tension, by then I'll have cut my necks for thickness and the next logical step is to go with better dies.

Hope that helps.

I can add a bit to that. Stay clear of CH4D. They'll have good prices and I can't really complain about the dies I have given their use (loading for an M2) but their horrible CS and lack of following through on a warranty just simply killed it. Wish I'd gone to M2 Dies and had custom ones made for $1k+ and been done with it. But I didn't have specs on the chamber or any fired brass then.

I use Whidden for custom stuff now. So far so good. I've had an order in with 'em for a few months now, I'm sure the holidays slowed it down plus I ordered a one off truly custom piece, a Grendel trim/size die for a Dillon 650. They'll make damn near anything and I can tell just from placing the order they take their shit more seriously than does CH4D. Talk directly to the die dept. manager for custom work, he'll take care of you.

I don't know if M2 is still in business or if they make dies for calibers other than BMG, but I'd give them a call and try. If they do, they'll probably be the highest quality dies you can find.

For any of these custom dies, you'll want fired brass to send 'em, maybe new cases too. That or a reamer print if you have one. Unless you're loading for multiple rifles and need to keep it all in SAAMI specs I'd get 'em custom done this way to match the rifle and you'll get better loads and less work on your brass. These dies are damn expensive (loading for anything .375 and up is in a class of it's own I learned) so why not get the best out of 'em?

For a decapping die, you can use a sizing stem with the expansion ring ground down and installed in a seating die. Presto. Decaps without working the brass. This is nice depending on your loading process. If they have out of spec or junk parts to make one out of that's great and it'll cost less.

Don't know what press you use, but Dillon is supposed to be modifying the BMG press to other calibers and it's pretty nice, especially with the trimmer. If they don't make the stuff for it yet, you could have those custom made too. An idea anyway.

Good luck!

Just with Brian at Shootlong.com and he got an email for AB that they are behind due to have a new reamer made but didn't say anything about not making any more 375CT dies.

Well I just bought a set of their 375cheytac dies about a month ago and the gal there at applied ballistics told me that I got the last set of dies and that from now on they will only be handling the EnABLer dies and thats it. If you want give them a call and get it straight from them, that would probably get things straight.

Got my 375 Cheytac dies from Shoot-long.com and they are very nicely made and could not be happier. The boys at Applied Ballistics do put out a great die set. Not sure on future availability but contact Brain at Shoot-long .com

Ch4d - seemed to have in stock, arrived pretty fast. still working on seating length with different bullets for OAL/COAL so have not done a complete load yet but they size fine and seat fine. Good customer service for the order and my questions. Have not had any warranty issues so can’t speak to that.

To answer one of the first questions: Desert Tech makes “ factory” 375CT ammo using Peterson brass.

Those PT&G Cheytac Dies are nice looking.
