I know that the 375rum is not considered a elr rifle. However I think that with a 30in barrel it could possibly be a good way to get into a less expensive 375. What do you think? And what velocity should i expect shooting the 350smk's? All opinions are welcome.

.338 cal is better suited for the case capacity of the RUM's.

Lehigh,Jamison,GS,etc make very high BC solids or there's the 300 grain vld's,SMK,s.

I have a 375CT.It's an amazing round.The speed and BC combined is what makes it so capable.
