Yeah the 8.6CM looks to be the most promising. I'm not sure how much support the 375 Whisper real has.

I’ve got a few 375 Whispers. Mine use Lapua 6 BR brass.

AR and Bolt

It’s like a 300 BO that grew up to 308 boltface.

The easy route for Subsonic heavies and AR would be .450 Bushmaster .

Not had .375 AR . but lots of 30-221 AR's and Boltactions .
If I was going to do one for myself . ( my thought ? ) . I would go an AR10, with 12 to 16 inch" barrel . then workup some Die's with Necking-up some Dasher or BR brass .
Research what twist needed to stabilize Subsonic Vel . for the .375 for Lobbing some Heavies, also see what you can workoout for High Vel. load .
You just need to work COAL, in parameters that AR10 magazines gives you .
