Anyone know of any place (or any one) doing 3D printed cheek pieces to order?

Specifically, I have an MDT Skeleton Carbine stock... generally, I like it a lot. But between the way I mount my scopes (pretty much as far forward as they will go) and having a full stack of LOP spacers in the rear... that cheek piece could be a good 2" longer / further forward for my use, and still clear the bolt handle easily.

I had been thinking about getting some Kydex and getting out ye ol' Dremel tool and making something to fit my needs... then I got to thinkin' (always a bad sign) that maybe this would be something someone out there has already done, via 3D printing.

Thanks!

If you're handy you could try Autodesk Fusion 360 (which is free for non-commercial uses) and draw up your own cheek piece and have it printed locally or from an online printer (or helpful Hide member).

That said, looking at the stock and what you're describing, I agree with @Rover31 that Kydex makes the most sense.

Fusion 360 is pretty powerful for most of the stuff you’d want to do. It doesn’t have the advanced surfacing tools of a full CAD package like Creo or Solidworks, but in most cases you can work around it.

There are so many awesome tutorials on YouTube, you can teach yourself in a day, especially if you’re doing the basics; sketch, extrude, revolve.

All of the parts I’ve designed for the AI were done on F360. Any questions let me know!
