Rifle Scopes 4-16x50 IR Sniper Scope for beginner good or bad?

Re: 4-16x50 IR Sniper Scope for beginner good or bad?

Barska is just gonna be a disappointment to you. If you are looking for a good budget beginner scope, there are much better ways to spend your money. My suggestions would be Millett TRS-1 MIL/MIL, Super Sniper 10X, Weaver 3.5-10 tactical, Bushnell 10X40 MIL/MIL, Vortex Crossfire 6-24X50 mil dot, maybe some others. Just do some research here on this site and you'll learn alot. Just the word "Barska" generally sparks alot of bad moods here on the hide!

www.swfa.com is a forum sponsor, I believe, and has a good selection. Millett is a great suggestion, as are their own SWFA SS scopes. Once you're up in the $300-400 range, Weaver and Bushnell have some nice offerings, and above $500 you're approaching demo model Leupold and Nikon scopes.

Good luck with your shopping,

John
