42.5 gr of Varget...who else?

w/ 175smk's it is excellent in my rifle. Nothing fancy. COAL 2.80". Wondering who else is using the same combo.

i ran out of varget had to use 41.6 or W748, but i was getting half inch groups. I love tat bullet. sniff sniff tear tear,

That and 42.5 of H4895 is what my 5r likes as well. I did let them out a little to 2.810.

What twist-rate is your barrel? I get 2500 fps in a 1:12 with 42.5 Gr. Varget. Tried a whole spread up from there with worse results.

If you like the 175SMK, try the Berger 175BT. The price is a little more, but the BC is noticably better at the target end.

+1... My rifle likes it better at 44.2 of Varget.

Accuracy is outstanding and I'm curious to see what my velocities are ..
