457 mtr barrel

Anybody know if cz will be selling them seperate. Been lookong for one but no luck.

To the best of my knowledge none of the 457 barrels are being sold separately. You can buy a 455 barrel that fits the 457 action from CZ:

There have been forum members that have replaced the barrel on their 457 MTR. You could find one of them and see if they will sell their old barrel.

Alright I will do some searching see if I can find some old threads. The 455 barrels never impressed me. Trying to hold off on spending lilja money

Owning an 455 and a 457MTR, the only thing I really like about the MTR is the stock. I'm a sucker for that style. The barrel doesn't shoot any better than my 455 ~16" Varmint factory barrel. The tight chamber is incredibly tight, and after a couple hundred rounds of CCI Standard Velocity, I'm really having to cam that bolt into battery. It really puts the bullet into the lands upon chambering as well as a healthy ring of wax/lube at the front of the chamber.
