5/14/11 next bgtc [bham,al] precision rifle match

Next match in on 5/14/11. Send me your emails [[email protected]] and I will assign shoot times in the order of requests received,

ONE CLASSIFICATION/SCORING RULE CHANGE

As we are now running two classes only, either prone or bench [no long by caliber] in order to level the playing field on the prone scores NO BENCHREST FRONT OR REAR RESTS ARE ALLOWED WHEN SHOOTING PRONE IN THIS MATCH [you can do that when shooting off the bench in this match or when shooting prone F/Open in my monthly f class match, but not here anymore]

So if you plan to shoot prone in this match [please do!] make sure its off a bipod, tripod or sand bag, etc. in the front, and a tactical type rear bag or the like in the rear.

Too bad it wasn't the week prior. I will be down in Mobile visiting some family and could have driven up LOL

I'm in the Atlanta area, it's not a bad drive to Bham
What range do you shoot on ?
What are the details of the match ?

hey Gizzmo, here is the link to our website with my match details, its a bit out of date as to some of the targets as we:

[1] no longer use the caldwell shoot n see's, instead at 300, 440 & 500 yards in place of those we use one moa donuts with a roughly 1/2 moa center, 5 points for center hit, 3 for outer ringhit,
[2] also instead of 4" clays at 385 we use 4" steel round plates. [i need to update the webpage,oh well toomuch to do and not enough time!]
[3] i also alternate between bench and prone runs and assign shooot times in advance upon receipt of the request to shoot and no longer break up classes by caliber [just prone or bench].send me a pm if you want to come over and shoot with us [let meknow if bench or prone], thanks
