5 round magazines for hunting?

I'm in need of a few 5 round mags for hunting in my gas gun, I regularly use Magpul/DPMS patterned mags. Is their a source out there for 5rd mags or would I have to modify a 10rd?

Right now...you are stuck with:

a) running the DPMS factory limited capacity mags;

b) modifying PREVIOUS generation Magpul 20LR PMAGs (cut-down, pin the floorplate back on...this has been done successfully for quite some time now for your stated purposes, including commercially by companies like MidwestPX who used to offer them for sale...they still offer the service for cut-downs. I say "previous" because you can't similarly mod the new, M3 LR/SR PMAGs because of the new floorplate/mag body design); or

c) wait for the 5-round limiters for the new, 10 LR/SR PMAGs to hit the market (not definitive ETA, but should be fairly soon); or

d) wait for the new Lancer L7 AWM 5-round mags to hit the market (due out next month...we'll see if they actually MAKE that estimated date, but its been "March" for a few months now).

Whatever you do...just stay well clear of the garbage 5-rounders from ProMag, AR Stoner, etc.

MidwestPX cuts down pmags, I am pretty sure they have 5 and 7rd mags.
