Need help looking for an optic for a 50 Beowulf. Had a cheap scope on it and the lens came loose

What are you planning on shooting with the rifle?
targets? Hogs? bad guys?
1-6 or a 1.8-10 USO would fill the bill for targets and some hunting applications.
Aimpoint or EOtech would be my choice for the latter.

Eotech with a 3x magnifier for the 150 shot if you ant got the money for that, a aim point w/ vortex magnifier but the aimpoint might not like the recoil

I just went thru a similar decision . I have a 20" barreled Beowulf with a Satern barrel that is scary accurate . I wanted to set it up with an optic that took advantage of its precision . I just ordered a Leupold 3-9 Patrol scope and ADM mount from Liberty . Should have it later in the week .

I just have a Eotech on mine. Like it a lot and i can make 150 yard shots with it. I usually keep it 100 and in though and for that it is perfect.

I like my Aimpoint comp M3. Not to change the subject, but can you put a beuwolf upper on a 5.56 lower w/o any internal changes?

Yes you can... Just need a beowulf mag and it will go in stadard AR lower..

For 150 yards with a 50 beowulf....if you got the cash I would go with a S&B short dot 1-4x illum. reticle. You'll be dropping pigs like flies.
If that won't work...a vortex or leupold 1-4x should work fine.

I use a Trijicon TR21. Works great, no batteries needed and so far it held up to the recoil.
Hogs don't like it BTW.

+1 to the Eotech...
I built a Beowulf for my dad and it's a cool setup. The 1moa dot in the center of the Eotech reticle is surprisingly accurate when aiming.
I saw you found a leupold... post some pics when you can.
