I am interested also but called vortex and there saying they know nothing about it.it there a serial number or some way to prove its valid?

yes still available I sent good for 1 item and it has a name and phone # to call for any questions and to redeem. No serial # I guess you have to mail the cert back to them.

I don't know if you have a different inroad with Vortex, but when I contacted them yesterday, the guy that's in charge of the certs, etc. said the only way to verify authenticity is to mail it to him. Though speaking with the seller, he has details which makes me believe it's legit.
