Rifle Scopes 6-24 Argos BTR vs. 6-24 Midas Tac? Is the true zero stop/turrets/glass worth it?

I've spent a couple hours googling and comparing and I know most/all of the differences between the two. I was set on the Midas Tac but the (comparatively) much cheaper Argos BTR has caught my eye. I'm not sure I'll need the zero stop. The 10 mil/rotation turrets on the Tac would be nice and they're more tactile and solid, but worth it? As for the glass, I'm not a glass snob by any means but I do plan on shooting both at max magnification (24x) when I use them - would the Midas Tac's glass be noticeably better to the point of aiding in accuracy/effectiveness or is it splitting hairs and for the "ahhhh" effect?

Comparing the Midas TAC and the Athlon Argos is like comparing apples and oranges. The Midas is really in a whol different class. That being said, if you are just going to set the scope and never touch the turrets then the Argos May be fine for you. If you will be dialing for elevation at all I would spend the extra money for the upgraded glass and turrets.

What is your intended range. If beyond say 3-400 yards I would definitely step up to the Midas Tac.

Regularly out to 600. Rarely past that but may get a chance at 1000+ sometimes.

I can't offer a comparison of the two, but I shoot out to 600 regularly with an Argos BTR, no issues.
