Ummm... where to start...Ok.
First of all, the 6.5x55 is a low pressure cart. The difference in pressure between the 6.5x55 and anything with WSM in the title is massive.
Secondly, what action is it? The M38 is a small ring and is not even safe to think about a magnum in. Granted, the Husky M38's are probably the finest of all the small ring mausers, but are still small ring mausers and popularly considered insufficient for even tame modern rounds like 308.
Lastly, the bolt. I don't think there is enough meat on the bolt face for the fat rim.
Basically, I can't see it being safe or cost effective. Sorry.
