the 6.5vs308 has been beaten to death and we all know that 6.5cm has less barrel life than .308, but %99 of the reports I've been able to find online are from competition/bolt gun shooters, and ranging anywhere from 1500-3000. Im wondering if anyone has a 6.5cm in a semi auto with a coated barrel (nitride) and can comment on barrel life? curious how the nitride holds up against the abusive 6.5

You could check out what dracos has to offer. They have a sale on blem 6.5 creedmoor and 308 barrels that they offer a lifetime guarantee. If you shoot it out they will replace it for free. I just got mine in yesterday and the blem on mine was a 1/8 th inch scuff on the black finish that will be under the handgaurd. The 22" +2 gas 6.5 creedmoor has a 1:9 twist, and includes adjustable gas block and gas tube installed from dracos and weighs 57 ounces.
